Sleep deficit?

I took a 6 hour ‘nap’ tonight, it was great. But it reminded me that I’m not getting rest like I should. I’ve often tried to aim for an early enough bedtime to be functional the next day. And it seems the older I get, the more sleep I need to be useful. That stinks, but hey—it’s reality. Of course improving my health helps in that regard so we’re working on that too. ;)

But this nap got me thinking about the concept of “sleep deficit” so I googled it and found an interesting article, albeit 5 years old, that you might like reading. It gives slackers everywhere hope! :)

  1. Lyle, you have the caziest sleep patterns. I’m not sure how you do it. I’m a complete waste of space if I don’t get 7 hours of sleep. I much better off if I have 8 or 9. I’ve noticed that when I’m drinking more water and sleeping enough…I’m kicking ass.

  3. HA! I can’t spell worth a darn. Plus, I’m high on medication and am having a hard time formulating sentences. I guess this is yet another reason why I need to switch back to Safari…It has in browser spell checking.
